Student Financial Aid Programs

Students who wish to utilize federal and state funding to assist with their college expenses are encouraged to apply through the financial assistance office.

Applications are available from the financial assistance office. Career Technical College is authorized by the U.S. Department of Education to award Federal financial aid in the form of student grants and student loans.

Grant Programs

The Federal Pell Grant Program provides Federal grants to students who show a calculated financial need. The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FESOG) provides Federal grants to students who show an exceptional calculated financial need. The College is also approved for the training of veterans and vocational rehabilitation students.

Loan Programs

Subsidized Federal Stafford Loan
Payments and interest are deferred until six months after the student ceases to be a half-time student or leaves school.

Interest begins immediately; however, students may elect to not pay the interest and instead have it accrue. Payments begin six months after a student ceases to be a half-time student or leaves school.
